Texas Beef Ambassadors

The Texas Beef Ambassador Program, managed by Texas CattleWomen, Inc., empowers high school seniors to become advocates for the beef industry. Each year, five dedicated students are selected to serve as ambassadors, developing strong communication skills while educating consumers about beef nutrition, food safety, and responsible production practices.  Ambassadors participate in specialized training and represent the beef community at events, in media, and through online outreach. Throughout the program, they engage with industry leaders, gaining valuable insight into the beef sector. No prior agricultural experience is required—just a passion for learning and sharing the story of beef. Applicants must be Texas high school seniors and submit a video presentation on a current industry topic and questionnaire. Selected ambassadors will receive training and mentorship to confidently advocate for beef wherever they go. Applications open June 1st each year and close September 1st. The TBA program runs from September to May.
