We participate in many local events, donate to our local Beef cook-off at Fiesta de la Paloma in October, and donate to Santa Anna Funtier Days for their brisket cook-off. We help with Ag Day in conjunction with the Farm Bureau in May, usually after TAKS tests.  Our group enters a float in the local rodeo parade & raffle half a beef as a fundraiser during the rodeo.  We have a great mix of younger and older members who work well together.  There is much ranching history in our area,  most of our members are rural with ranching backgrounds and agriculture as a primary concern.
